We're at 350–352 Lower Somercotes, Alfreton DE55 4LP, in the original lower part of the village just off the B600 (Nottingham Road). Trentbarton buses run along the B600 between Alfreton and Nottingham, and there's a frequent service from Somercotes High Street to Alfreton railway station a couple of miles away.

We're a local practice for Somercotes, Leabrooks, Pye Bridge, Riddings, Ironville and Swanwick, and we welcome patients from Alfreton and across the wider Amber Valley area.

NHS charges in England for 2026 fall into three bands. Band 1 (£27.90) covers an examination, diagnosis and advice, including any X-rays and a scale and polish if needed. Band 2 (£76.60) covers fillings, extractions and root canal treatment. Band 3 (£332.10) covers crowns, dentures and bridges. Some patients are exempt from charges.

Your dentist will take a full history, examine your teeth, gums and soft tissues, and take any X-rays that are needed. You'll get a clear explanation of anything they find, along with an agreed plan and costs, before any treatment starts.
